GAHArt Studio
Illustrator and Mixed-Media Artist
New Website Coming Soon
Since 2019 I have been working as a freelance illustrator and mixed-media artist and in 2023 this became a more full-time endeavor as I took a step back from working in the mental health care field. Using collage techniques and re-use art with fantastical elements, I typically merge digital creations with traditional mediums (like acrylic painting, fabric/textiles and embroidery) to craft engaging 2-D narratives. This approach allows me to capture the vibrant complexities of the connections between emotions, thoughts, and healing. Though seemingly eclectic in nature, my work is cohesively brought together through their commentary surrounding the medical industrial complex, mental health care within our system, and personal realities and agencies (or lack thereof) related to mental well being (all while touching on themes related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility). Much of my work is inspired by my own lived experiences and a dedication to art as imperative to holistic well being.
I am currently accepting commissions. Whatever my client needs, I strive to provide them with greater project control, flexibility, and the highest quality output.
